JCR Performance offers engine services such as water pump replacement, timing belt or chain replacement, and engine rebuilding or replacement.
Water Pumps and Timing Belts
The water pump might be mounted on or under a cover that protects the timing belts, depending on the car’s year, make, and model. The serpentine belt runs the water pump if it is attached to the front of the engine.
The timing belt turns the water pump pulley if it is under the timing belt cover. If the water pump has spilled antifreeze onto the timing belt, both should be replaced. The front cover of the engine must be removed to access the water pump.
Not having to change the timing belt for another 60,000 miles will save you money!
